Once again the temperature was above average for this time of year, it was right around 60 degrees for our hike through Natural Bridge.
I had never even heard of this state park even though it is less than 60 miles from where I live. We recently purchased a book called 60 Hikes within 60 Miles: Madison. Apparently there are a lot of nice parks and hiking trails nearby. I guess we will have plenty of choices for our next trail hike.
Just beginning the hike. Looks pretty easy at this point, but the trail does have some pretty good hills.
That's me standing near the sandstone bridge for which the park gets its name. View more photos or the data I collected using my Garmin Forerunner.
